AWT Rail SK, the Slovak subsidiary of the Czech company PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s., has seen a change on its board of directors: Małgorzata Minor, a Polish national who heads the automotive division at the parent company, joined the board on January 16, 2020. Jaromír Sládeček remains in office as Chairman of the Board, as does Krzystof Andrzej Galazka as his deputy. Minor succeeds Viktor Bystrian, who had held the position since September 10, 2019, and who stepped down as CCO of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s. at the end of 2019.

Devinoy neuer Präsident RégioRail France
Brice Divinoy ist seit März 2020 neuer Präsident des Logistikers Eurorail International sowie deren EVU-Tochter RégioRail France SAS. Zuvor arbeitete er 14 Jahre für DHL Express, davon elf Jahre als Directeur des Opérations. Devinoy folgt somit auf den im März 2019 in diese Funktion eingetretenen Laurent Gorra, der das Unternehmen im Ende 2019 wieder verließ. Interimistisch übernahm Gorras Vorgänger und Eurorail-CEO Eric Debrauwere.
Kohl Takes the Helm at the Freight Railway
In anticipation of the start of in-house production, Frachtbahn Traktion GmbH has restructured its management: Shareholder Reinhard Bamberger is moving from operational management to the supervisory board; Ulrich Puz (formerly of SCHIG) has been managing director since May, and Volker Kohl (47) will take over in June. Among other roles, Kohl served as an authorized signatory and operations manager at TX Logistik Austria starting in September 2007, and as managing director of Lokomotion Austria GmbH from October 2014 through spring 2020, where he was succeeded by Stefan Jarosch.

Kohl does, after all, have operational experience that neither Puz nor Kazalek have. Frachtbahn already operates some services under MMV and Cargoserv, which is probably why the MMV photo is in the ÖVZ.

Aufsichtsrat und Gesellschafterversammlung der Regionalverkehr Köln GmbH (RVK) haben einstimmig Dr. Marcel Frank als kommenden Geschäftsführer bestellt. Der 42-jährige gebürtige Kölner löst zum 01.01.2021 Eugen Puderbach an der Spitze des Busunternehmens ab, der das Unternehmen seit Juli 1998 leitet und in Ruhestand geht. Frank tritt seinen Dienst bei der RVK zum 01.11.2020 an und war zuvor Geschäftsführer bei den Eisenbahnen und Verkehrsbetriebe Elbe-Weser GmbH mit Sitz in Zeven. Er wurde zunächst bis zum 31.10.2025 zum alleinigen Geschäftsführer berufen.
Frank bestätigt somit den Trend bei den evb-Geschäftsführern, zurück in die „alte Heimat“ Köln zu wechseln. Sein Vorgänger Wolfgang Birlin wurde 2015 Vorstand der Häfen und Güterverkehr Köln AG (HGK) und ist seit 2016 in Personalunion Geschäftsführer des Tochterunternehmens RheinCargo GmbH & Co. KG.

Jens Lange verlässt die ENON / DESAG Ende Mai 2020. Der Logistiker war dort seit 01.01.2017 tätig und hatte sich um die logistische Verknüpfung zwischen LKW und Schiene, die Hafenlogistik sowie Entwicklung und Vorbereitung von Projekten im Bereich Logistik gekümmert. Vorherige Station war eine langjährige Tätigkeit bei der LION Spezialtransport GmbH (heute: LION Logistics GmbH).
