DB Cargo is currently operating a spot service transporting coils between Antwerp Zuidnatie and the Josef Wiechers freight forwarding company's terminal in Duisburg-Rheinhausen. Twelve trains will run over the course of six weeks.

January 29, 2020 – In addition to its regular Captrain service, Continental Rail operated a Bobinero between Bilbao and Aranda de Duero today. This is the first time the company has provided such a service.
Captrain Coils to Sagunto Now a Regular Service
More freight trains between Trasona and Sagunto (Captrain Spain)
January 27, 2020 – Following a trial run last summer, Captrain is now operating regularly on the Trasona–Sagunto corridor, adding a three-week Bobinero service to those operated by Renfe. The train consists of a pair of Bitracs pulling MM and VTG/Arcelor coil cars.
KSW: Changes to Coil Conveyors
Since August 2, 2019, KSW Kreisbahn Siegen-Wittgenstein GmbH has also been picking up steel coils for EMW Stahl Service in Neunkirchen from the Port of Duisburg. As with the shipments to Quelle Dortmund Hafen, which have been ongoing since December 2, 2014, there are 1–2 weekly round trips. However, deliveries to the Schäfer-Shop subsidiary in Dortmund will end on December 10, 2019.
