On 12 June 2020, the Slovak company AWT Rail SK a.s. was renamed to PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL SK a.s. The rebranding of the company, consisting of the new name, the logo and corporate colors of the parent company PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s., will strongly express its connection to the PKP CARGO Group and better announce its presence on international markets. Rebranding within the PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL Group has been going on since 2 October 2019, when the parent company Advanced World Transport a.s. (AWT) was renamed to PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s.
Minor Joins the AWT Rail SK Board of Directors
AWT Rail SK, the Slovak subsidiary of the Czech company PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s., has seen a change on its board of directors: Małgorzata Minor, a Polish national who heads the automotive division at the parent company, joined the board on January 16, 2020. Jaromír Sládeček remains in office as Chairman of the Board, as does Krzystof Andrzej Galazka as his deputy. Minor succeeds Viktor Bystrian, who had held the position since September 10, 2019, and who stepped down as CCO of PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL a.s. at the end of 2019.
Hödlmayr traktioniert grenzüberschreitend
Nach fünf Jahren unter Verantwortung der BLG AutoRail haben die Kia-Neuwagentransporte Žilina – Cuxhaven seit 01.01.2020 mit Hödlmayr einen neuen Logistikpartner. Gleichzeitig wechselten auch die involvierten EVUs:
- Alt: ZSSK Cargo in der Slowakei, ČD Cargo bis Bad Schandau, ab dort HSL Logistik. Letzte Meile ab Hamburg-Harburg durch evb Logistik.
- Neu: PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL in Tschechien; ZSSK Cargo in der Slowakei und I T L Eisenbahn in Deutschland. Die Vectron MS der ZSSK Cargo laufen bis nach Bremerhaven (seit Februar, in Januar nur bis Děčín). Letzte Meile durch evb Logistik. Waggons von Touax.
Für die Vectron der ZSSK Cargo nicht der einzige Langlauf im Automotive-Bereich. Auf der Relation Slowakei – Frankreich für Gefco kommen die Loks bis Strasbourg.
Dluhá neue Personalcheffin bei PKP Cargo International
Am 01.02.2020 wurde Radka Dluhá zur neuen Personalchefin von PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL ernannt, die für die Leitung der Personalabteilung und der HR-Prozesse des Unternehmens innerhalb der PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL-Gruppe verantwortlich ist. Außerdem wird sie die HR-Prozesse und -Standards eng mit der Personalabteilung der Muttergesellschaft PKP CARGO abstimmen.
Vor ihrem Eintritt in die PKP CARGO INTERNATIONAL-Gruppe war Radka Dluhá in der Personalabteilung von Unternehmen wie Advantage Consulting und Honeywell Aerospace Olomouc tätig. 2017 wurde sie zur Personal- und Einstellungsleiterin für die Tschechische Republik der EDYMAX Personal Management SE ernannt. Sie ist Absolventin der VSB – Technische Universität Ostrava.
