Effective July 1, 2020, the law firm TIGGES is strengthening its Transport & Logistics practice group at its Düsseldorf office with the addition of a new Of Counsel Dr. Frank Wilting, a specialist attorney in transportation and freight forwarding law as well as administrative law.
Dr. Wilting has been advising clients for 12 years through his own law firm, primarily national and international companies in the railroad and freight forwarding sectors, with a focus on private and public railroad law, contract law, transportation law, and commercial lease law. In addition, he represents insurers and vehicle owners in railway accident cases to enforce their claims. Before establishing his own law firm, he held management positions in the railway industry for many years, among other roles, and therefore has extensive practical experience.
With Dr. Wilting, the Transport & Logistics Practice Group to seven attorneys. The team advises logistics companies and carriers based both domestically and abroad on all matters related to transportation law . This primarily concerns the transport of goods by rail, by road, by air, and in multimodal transport chains.
