H3 an SBB Cargo International geliefert

For shunting duties, SBB Cargo International (SBBCI) has decided to invest in a new H3 hybrid locomotive, which will be allocated to Offenbach am Main. On 05.06.2020, Südleasing and SBBCI officially took delivery of the locomotive that got a unique design.

The red machine got stickers with colors that refer to SBBCI’s Vectron fleet and depicting buildings from Offenbach (Büsingpalais for example) and the skylines of Frankfurt am Main, which is nearby. The design was made by Railcolor Design.

’90 80 1002 035-6 D-ALS’ is an Alstom H3 locomotive that runs on diesel and has an additional Li-ion battery pack.

SBB Cargo International today accepted a brand new Alstom H3 hybrid locomotive in Salzgitter, which, like the 20 Siemens Vectron, is rented by SüdLeasing. The locomotive is used by us at the Offenbach am Main location and also bears the name of this city. Overall, this locomotive features a potpourri of various well-known design elements from the Vectron locomotives and, in addition to the skyline of Frankfurt am Main, the silhouette of the Büsingpalais in Offenbach am Main.
