We are pleased to inform you that we already have the first 20 intermodal CLIP Group semi-trailers for handling door-to-door connections. In total, we ordered 100 units, including 50 Isotherm – Doubledeck trailers and 50 Tilt – Mega trailers. The delivery is carried out under the project entitled “Purchase of intermodal trailers for servicing connections” (contract number for co-financing POIS.03.02.00-00-0063 / 18-00) co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund under the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020, Priority III. Development of the TEN-T road network and multimodal transport, Measure 3.2 – Development of maritime transport, inland waterways and multimodal connections.
CLIP Intermodal, which has a logistics terminal at Swarzędz, near Poznań, submitted requests for finance for three projects. One involved the acquisition of semitrailers which could be lifted using ordinary cranes, for which a grant of 5,586,000 PLN (1.3 million EUR) was requested. Another was for a batch of container platform wagons, to be subsidised to the tune of 43,146,500 PLN (10.03 million EUR), and the third was for a batch of pocket wagons, for which a grant of 27,817,000 PLN (6.47 million EUR) was requested.
