SIM Factor Sp. z o.o. and KOLPREM Sp. z o.o. signed a contract for the construction of two railway simulators.
  A new training center for train drivers will be created in KOLPREM for  which SIM Factor will provide two SMART-type locomotive simulators. They  will be dedicated simulation solutions, including the original 6DG  shuting locomotive desktop with a remote control, as well as a simulator  in the UIC-612 standard with the possibility of running several virtual  vehicles, like DRAGON or VECTRON, with traction behavior and dedicated  HMI interface. The UIC standard simulator will be additionally equipped  with ETCS and dedicated ETCS Level 2 routes.
 Under the agreement,  KOLPREM will gain access to the full SIM Factor software with a base of  railway routes covering over 1500 km of routes, as well as a dedicated  network of STALOWNIA siding tracks in the area of the ArcelorMittal  Poland. 
The training center with simulators is the next step of  KOLPREM on its way to eliminate railway incidents and accidents and to  raise the level of qualifications of train drivers running trains on  railway routes and on sidings. 
The simulators will be launched in  the first half of September 2020, the KOLPREM training center will be  located in Dąbrowa Górnicza on the premises of ArcelorMittal Poland.
