Following a competitive bidding process, Pesa Bydgoszcz and Pol-Miedź Trans (PMT) have signed a contract for the delivery of a new single-system electric locomotive with a diesel module. The 111Ed / Gama Marathon will be delivered within 24 months and will cost 14.39 million PLN (3.65 million EUR) net. The project is co-financed with European funds.
PMT is currently leasing four of these locomotives from the state-owned leasing company Rail Capital Partners (RCP).
